This project was part of a series of giant cake props, made as part of the giant props module at RWCMD. These cakes were all made in teams just under three weeks.

Our prompt was to create delicate, colourful mooncakes to be housed in an ornate, highly embellished presentation box. The cakes are polycarved, skrimmed and then pained with Rosco paints. The box is plywood, wood grained to scale and decorated with laser cut borders and a plaster carved dragon.
