Regency Style Waistcoat

Regency style waistcoat made in a tailoring class at RWCMD with Gregory Rostek, meant to introduce us to the basics of tailoring. We each made a half (my other half was made by Nancy Tait) then I attached the back and did the finishings to make it into a wearable garment.

This waistcoat is made from a dark grey pinstripe, structured with horsehair canvas and lined with a rust coloured cotton. The lining is hand fell stitched down for a clean finish, the buttonholes are also hand sewn.
